What We Do

Our Aim
Although the group is constantly evolving and changing focus, the main aim is to investigate reports of alleged paranormal occurences and abilities, taking a balanced and fresh approach in each case where we feel we may be of help or where this will assist in our own research. The group also spend time debunking claims of the paranormal, where after exhausting all possibilities no supporting evidence can be found, or indeed where evidence to the contrary is uncovered.

After much discussion, we have taken the recent decision to step back from private home investigations as we feel we can be of limited assistance in resolving these cases. Occasionally with pyschological issues contributing, we feel a moral and professional responsibility to ensure these cases are dealt with by the correct people. We will be spending much more time on research, experimentation and investigating claims of paranormal ability. If you feel you have any kind of ability we would be delighted to speak to you. Please feel free to contact us.

Equally however, if you are experiencing unsettling events at home and have exhausted all other possibilities, we would invite you to contact the team for advice.

NIPS, which was formed in late 2005 is a dedicated team of paranormal investigators and researchers, some with many years experience. The team pride ourselves in our professional approach to this subject and our determination in trying to understand the paranormal.

The team take very seriously our research into the subject and we are continually looking at new scientific equipment, investigation methods and spirit communication.

All our new research will be updated on the site so keep watching.

Our Motto - “Continuing to target the truth”
We are very proud of our society motto and we are always working honestly & truthfully to investigate all claims of paranormal activity, and to provide supporting evidence to the public, where possible.

Knowledge & Training
Although there is no academic qualification to becoming a paranormal investigatior, members of the Society are required to be aware of and understand the popular beliefs and theories held in the vast area of the paranormal. Training also includes many hours spent on investigations, where they must demonstrate the ability to research, survey, investigate, analyse and draw conclusion from their findings, remaining impartial and keeping an open and unbiased mind at all times. Only after they have proven to be proficient in the use of all equipment and capable of carrying out such investigations will individuals be given the role of NIPS Investigator.

NIPS TV
After months of beta testing for the Mogulus company in New York before their software was released to the public, Mark has assisted Max Haot and Mogulus in the development of this breakthrough in technology which means that NIPS are the very first Paranormal Group in the UK and Ireland to have a live internet television station capable of not only broadcasting content from paranormal groups across the globe but with the assistance of state of the art outside broadcast equipment that the team have aquired, we can now transmit and produce live investigations with television broadcast quality output enabling us to perform live multicamera switching and produce actual live television shows of investigations or charity events in the future.

Originally developed for a single webcam which would not produce the best quality for the work that we do, being that much of it is done in low light environments, we have developed our version of the Mogulus software to work in conjunction with actual television broadcast equipment in order to bring the public the best quality possible. The fact that we can do it live means that you can watch it as it happens. NIPS are very happy to help pioneer this amazing new technology and we hope that paranormal groups across the world will soon catch on and follow our lead, bringing the public the most up to date information and findings in the exciting world of the paranormal.

The development of NIPS TV is ongoing and will enable us to stream back to back videos relating to the group and the paranormal in general. If you would like to see your group featured here, contact Mark or Tony.
